Free Speech Violations
If you think that your free speech rights were violated, whether connected to a protest or as an individual, we want to hear about it.
NOTE: All reports are confidential. Report only "first-party" events – happenings which you, personally, participated in or witnessed. Submission of this information does not guarantee that you will be contacted by the ACLU of GA. It is possible that you may receive a request to use the information you have provided for one or more of the following purposes: (1) legislative testimony; (2) litigation; or (3) telling your story to the media.

Please give a careful and complete report of the incident:
Note names, physical descriptions, relevant dialogue, chronology, etc. Physical descriptions should include gender, race, height, size, hair color and length, clothing color and style, presence of eyeglasses, and any other distinguishing features. Also include badge number, rank, uniform style, and mobile unit number of police officers or military persons.
Make sure to note the organizations to which the individuals belong, as well as any physical contact, the identities of the instigator(s) and target(s), whether or not there was an arrest, etc:
Were you stopped, questioned, searched or arrested?
Do you have or know of photographs, recordings or videotapes of the incident?
Were reporters there?
Ambulances?
Were posters, banners, signs or cameras confiscated or destroyed?
Relate everything that you can remember; be detailed and objective. Use the back of the page or use extra pages, if needed.
