If you are already a member, or wish to give money without becoming a member, giving a donation to the ACLU Foundation of Georgia is the perfect way to contribute to our mission. Unlike membership dues, donations to the ACLU Foundation of Georgia, a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, are all tax-deductible. This arm of the ACLU of Georgia supports litigation, advocacy, public education, and special projects. It does not support legislative lobbying, which by law cannot be supported by tax-deductible funds.
In addition to accepting standard donations, the ACLU of Georgia also accepts some additional types of donations:
Make a gift to ACLU of Georgia in memory of a loved one or to honor a special person, and include a personal message that we will send to his/her family or to the person you wish to honor along with a notification of your gift. Your gift will help the ACLU of Georgia work to ensure the future of civil liberties.
Bequests, life-income funds and other planned gifts are an extraordinary way for members and friends to support the ACLU of Georgia. These gifts provide beneficial deductions and help ensure the future stability of the organization.
Many companies match charitable contributions of employees and spouses. This is a great way to double or even triple your gift to the ACLU of Georgia. If your employer or your spouse’s employer has a matching gift program, please obtain a matching gift form from the appropriate personnel office and send it to:
