The average high school student hears anti-gay insults
25 times each day...Teachers who hear these slurs fail to respond 97%
of the time...Media reports reveal that 6 out of 9 recent school shooters were
routinely taunted with anti-gay slurs...In a recent survey of
college students
18% of the males admitted physically or verbally harassing
someone they perceived as gay or lesbian...Harassment of kids who are, or are perceived to be, non-heterosexual is
so pervasive that students are unable
to receive an adequate education according to a 2-year study released in
