Welcome to Smart Justice Georgia!

On MONDAY, February 26, 2018,
call Your State Senator to END CASH BAIL.

We must END CASH BAIL for nonviolent misdemeanors.

WHY?

1. Freedom should NEVER be denied simply because of a person’s inability to pay.
2. Almost 2/3 of the people in Georgia jails are awaiting trial.(1)
3. It costs Georgia taxpayers hundreds of millions per year to hold innocent people in jail.(2)
4. Our tax dollars could be better spent on education, transportation, and healthcare, without compromising public safety.(3)
