Summary

Flock cameras read license plates all over Doraville. Without a Community Control Over Police Surveillance (CCOPS) ordinance, there are no local rules for how this data is stored, accessed, or shared. Come walk with the ACLU of Georgia, We Love Buford Highway Inc., and neighbors at a Flock Walk on October 25 to learn more.

There are cameras watching Buford Highway right now. Do you know who has access to the data?

Flock Safety cameras are installed throughout Doraville, and your license plate is being scanned every time you drive by. Without a Community Control Over Police Surveillance ordinance, there are no guardrails on how that data is stored, who can access it, or whether it gets shared with federal immigration enforcement.

On Sunday, October 25, join neighbors, community leaders, We Love Buford Highway Inc., and ACLU of Georgia for a “Flock Walk” in Doraville. We’ll walk the route, document the cameras, and make voices heard.

Doraville residents deserve a say in how surveillance technology is used in their community.

Walk with us: Sunday, Oct. 25, 2026. Meet in front of Doraville MARTA Station, 6000 New Peachtree Rd, Doraville. We plan to return by noon, possibly earlier.
