Internships at the ACLU of Georgia

ACLU of Georgia welcomes interns each spring, summer and fall for legal, policy, communications, community engagement and voter access work. Interns can be from all levels of education: high-school, undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate. All applicants must complete an application form and provide a resume. Some applicants may be required to provide additional documents. The internship this semester will be for school credit only. All applicants must complete this application form which includes providing a resume. Some applicants may be required to provide additional documents.

2026 SUMMER INTERNSHIP APPLICATIONS ARE OPEN

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis - so we encourage you to apply early! The application deadline is March 20, 2026. Click the position to apply.

2026 FALL LEGAL EXTERNSHIP

Legal Externs will be expected to perform legal research, draft legal memoranda, and potentially legal briefs and other documents, and be otherwise available to support the ACLU of Georgia’s litigation activities. Legal Externs must be in law school and will be expected to commit approximately 20 hours per week to the externship. Deadline to apply is March 27.
