ATLANTA - Today, the State of Georgia announced the rollout of Georgia Registered Voter Information System (GARVIS), a new voter registration system meant to provide an enhanced experience for elections officials and Georgia voters alike.
ACLU of Georgia Senior Policy Counsel, Vasu Abhiraman, states: “We commend the state for working to replace the old registration system with something more modern, more user friendly, and more reliable so elections officials can focus on serving voters instead of fixing IT issues. The state must spare no expense in thoroughly testing and implementing GARVIS for the voters of Georgia.”
