Sine Die at the Capitol

As Georgia’s legislative session enters its final stretch, we’re preparing for the most important day of the year at the Capitol: Sine Die. This is the final day of legislative session and the last chance for the legislature to pass a bill and send it to the Governor’s desk to be signed into law or vetoed. Once the day ends, the legislature adjourns and any bill that hasn’t passed both chambers dies. When people show up at the State Capitol, lawmakers are reminded that the decisions they make affect real people and real communities. That’s why we’re inviting you to join us at the Capitol for one final push! Please register by choosing the issue area group you want to participate with. Registration is capped at 30 people for each group. Specific details will be sent to all registrants closer to the event.

no kings march 28

No Kings Atlanta Protest

On March 28, people across the country will peacefully and lawfully come together at marches, rallies, and demonstrations to reject the Trump administration’s escalating abuses of power — building on the success of the first two iterations of No Kings in 2025, including No Kings on October 18, the largest single-day protest in U.S. history. We will gather together at the Memorial Dr Greenway for a short rally and then proceed for a ~.7 mile march around the GA State Capitol, ending back at Memorial Dr Greenway. A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.

Pack the Capitol

On January 12, 2026, Georgians from every corner of the state will gather at the Capitol for Pack the Capitol, our first lobby day bringing together hundreds of people to kick off the 2026 legislative session. We’re going to “Pack the Cap” and show our collective power, meet our lawmakers face-to-face, and set the tone for a session where our communities’ rights and needs cannot be ignored. This is about more than being present—it’s about being seen and heard.   *Please note that gaining entry to the Capitol on the first day of the legislative session can be a timely process because of the large number of people going through security. Capitol attendees should be ready to stand for at least an hour.
