ATLANTA – Today, the ACLU of Georgia released its 2020 Legislative Civil Liberties Scorecard on key civil liberty issues for sitting legislators who are on the November 3, 2020, ballot. Scores are based on legislator votes on key bills regarding voter rights, redistricting and gerrymandering, criminal justice reform and policing, First Amendment rights, reproductive rights, LGBTQ rights, and immigrant rights.

“Our most basic civil liberties are at stake in the November 3rd election. This legislative scorecard is meant to ensure Georgia voters can make an informed decision when voting for their next State Representative and State Senator.”
