PRELIMINARY DATA ESTIMATES

The Greater Augusta area, made up of Richmond, Columbia, Burke, McDuffie, Lincoln, Wilkes, Warren, Jefferson, Jenkins, and Screven counties, has grown more diverse in the last 10 years. The total voting age population has increased by nearly 8%.

The White voting age population has grown by nearly 3%. The Black voting age population has grown by almost 11%. The Asian voting age population has grown by almost 22%. The Hispanic voting age population has grown by nearly 42%. Overall, the people of color voting age population in the Greater Augusta area has grown by 14%.
