ATLANTA – The ACLU of Georgia political director Christopher Bruce to testify today at the second meeting of the Senate Study Committee on Revising Voting Rights for Nonviolent Felons.

“No one should ever lose their sacred, constitutional right to vote,” said Christopher Bruce, political director of the ACLU of Georgia. “We are encouraged that the Senate is working to explore remedies to address this historical tool of voter suppression that disenfranchised approximately 264,000 Georgians in the 2018 election.”
