House Bill 127

HB 127 prohibits public schools, universities and colleges from promoting, supporting or maintaining any programs or activities that advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion. These institutions risk losing state funding or state-administered federal funding if found to be in violation of this proposed law.

The ACLU of Georgia opposes HB 127 because it infringes on the right to free expression, freedom of association, and is unconstitutionally vague.
