ATLANTA — On Monday, January 12, Georgians will join what is expected to be the largest lobby day at the Capitol yet, organized by the ACLU of Georgia, Indivisible Georgia Coalition, and ProGeorgia. “Pack the Capitol” aims to make history by bringing hundreds of supporters together to learn about lobbying and key pieces of proposed legislation, speak directly with lawmakers, and visibly demonstrate their presence on the first day of Georgia’s 2026 legislative session.

Our organizations are defending civil liberties and building people power through a show of mass presence. The day begins with introductions and presentations at Central Presbyterian Church, followed by a press conference inside the Capitol, where advocacy leaders will address actions that have heavily impacted the state and outline steps to enhance civil rights for everyone.

WHEN
Monday, January 12, 8 a.m. - 1 p.m.
