WHAT
The ACLU of Georgia is hosting an Atlanta Municipal Election District 11 townhall. The event gives the community an opportunity to engage directly with candidates on local issues. The ACLU is partnering with Cascade UMC, the League of Women Voters, Communities United for Justice, and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., Pi Alpha Omega Chapter. Together, we aim to help voters decide who will influence city policies and where candidates stand on issues like police surveillance, free speech, incarceration, and immigration enforcement.
