ATLANTA — The ACLU of Georgia releases the following statement ahead of the final week of the 2025 Legislative session:

“Georgia’s legislative majority must not turn its back on the foundation of Georgia’s strong economy and follow the chaos that is coming out of Washington. Georgia’s diversity and rich history for civil rights draw businesses and people to the state. Many bills being considered would lead to greater uncertainty and unpredictability in education, women’s health, individual rights, and the right to vote.”
