WHAT:
Join us online for the Atlanta Municipal Election District 7 Townhall. This event will give the community a chance to engage directly with the district’s candidates on local issues. Along with League of Women Voters and Communities United for Justice, we are holding this townhall and two more in-person events to help voters prepare to choose who will shape the policies impacting their neighborhoods.

BACKGROUND:
All 15 Atlanta City Council Seats are up for election. The ACLU of Georgia does not endorse or oppose candidates for elected office and seeks to educate the public about where candidates stand on key issues including speech, privacy, criminal legal reform, and immigration.

Atlanta City Council Election President and At-Large Post 1 Townhall: The second and final in-person townhall at The Gathering Spot in Atlanta on Wednesday, October 22, 6:30-8:30 p.m.
