ATLANTA: On Tuesday, February 19, Sean J. Young, Legal Director of the ACLU of Georgia, will deliver the following remarks at the U.S. House of Representatives Field Hearing on Voting Rights and Election Administration in Georgia.
“The ACLU of Georgia and other organizations filed nearly a dozen lawsuits due to irregularities citizens experienced in the last election. We welcome congressional oversight of our state’s elections,” stated Andrea Young, Executive Director of the ACLU of Georgia. “Democracy requires that our elections are conducted in a fair and impartial manner.”
