ATLANTA – Today, the Federal District Court ruled that Georgia’s ban on abortion care is unconstitutional under decades of U.S. Supreme Court precedent. This means that the law is blocked while this litigation is pending.
“This case has always been about one thing: letting her decide. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but every woman is entitled to her own decision,” said Sean J. Young, legal director of the ACLU of Georgia.
