Bio
Ali Tabibnejad (he/him) is a Project Coordinator at the ACLU of Georgia where he supports the Policy and Advocacy Team’s mission, fulfilling his life’s calling every day. He attributes his deep appreciation for his freedoms in the United States to his upbringing under the Iranian regime. Embracing his newfound freedom of thought and expression, he pursued philosophy at the University of Montana and earned an MFA in filmmaking.
Active in student politics, Ali’s commitment to social justice eventually led him to BlackPush Inc., a nonprofit based in Atlanta, where he served as chief of staff. There, he made significant contributions, including producing a short documentary on the Uvalde tragedy and developing Barbershop Talk—a listening tour and web series aimed at engaging Black men in political discourse.
