While the Georgia legislature targeted protestors, students, educators, voters, LGBTQ+ people, immigrants and more, our team was at the Capitol advocating for these communities.

Fulton County’s history shows building a new jail will not remedy the problems of jail overcrowding. A close analysis of data produced by the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office indicated that population levels and conditions at the Fulton County Jail could have and should have been reduced and mitigated through commonsense measures.
