Kathy Egan (she/her) As Director of Philanthropy since 2018, Kathy has worked to build a sustainable program of private sector support primarily through major gifts from individuals, foundations and corporations, increasing fundraising twelvefold. Throughout her career, has developed innovative fundraising programs, effectively managed major fundraising events, and developed strategic fundraising plans with board and staff. Prior to joining the ACLU of Georgia, Kathy was the Vice President for Development at GCAPP and headed the regional development offices of two national nonprofits – the Trust for Public Land and the US Fund for UNICEF. She also held leadership positions in development at other major Atlanta nonprofit organizations. Kathy was nominated for the inaugural class of Emory’s Woodruff Leadership Academy and to the Leadership Atlanta Class of 1996.
