Lisa Adler (she/her) is the Deputy Director of the ACLU of GA, a role she has served in since 2018. Originally from New York City, Lisa received her B.A. in political science from Swarthmore College, after which she taught eighth-grade social studies in the Bronx through Teach for America. During this time, she received her master’s degree at Teachers College, Columbia University. In 2005, Lisa was awarded a New Voices Fellowship to work as a community organizer with the Labor/Community Strategy Center in Los Angeles, where she lived for six years. In 2009, Lisa moved to Atlanta and joined the staff of Amnesty International USA. In 2012, she joined the Caring Across Generations campaign as National Field Director, a position she served in for six years. Lisa lives in the Grant Park neighborhood of Atlanta and is a mother of two children.
