Nneka Ewulonu (they/them) Staff Attorney, is a lifelong Georgian committed to elevating the voices of marginalized communities. As a staff attorney at the ACLU of Georgia, they have helped negotiate a settlement with the Georgia Department of Community Health to begin Medicaid coverage for gender affirming healthcare; appeared as counsel in SisterSong v. Kemp and SisterSong v. State, federal and state abortion lawsuits respectively; and pushed state legislators to consider the First Amendment implications of laws introduced in the 2022 Georgia legislative session. They enjoy using their free time to bake and watch college football (Go Dawgs!)
