A proposal by the Irwin County Board of Elections and Registration would eliminate two much-needed polling places in the county.

The ACLU of Georgia sent a letter to the Irwin County Board of Elections and Registration on Friday, July 7, in response to its proposal to eliminate two out of three existing polling locations in the county. 

The board’s proposal would make it significantly harder for voters in Irwin County to cast ballots in future elections. It’s also likely unlawful. Read the entire letter below.
