ATLANTA – Today, the ACLU of Georgia released its 2020 Legislative Scorecard on Reproductive Rights to provide a comprehensive look at re- cent reproductive and women’s rights legislation in the state.

To ensure a thorough review of the state’s reproductive justice and women’s rights bills, the ACLU of Georgia scored eight bills covering a variety of related issues dating back to 2012. Each legislator was scored on bills they voted on since being elected. Absences and excuses were not counted to- wards the score.

The Georgia State House and Senate choices are as important as the Presidential and Senate choices. We want voters, especially women, to know how Georgia legislators vote on reproductive health. Do they respect a woman’s privacy and let her decide?” said Andrea Young, executive director of the ACLU of Georgia.
