The American Civil Liberties Union of Georgia will be partnering with the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law tomorrow (June 20) to ensure all eligible voters have access to the ballot in the runoff for Georgia’s 6th Congressional District.

“The right to vote is fundamental to our democracy, and all eligible voters in the 6th District should have an equal opportunity to participate in this important election,” said ACLU of Georgia Executive Director Andrea Young.

Trained staff members and legal interns will be on call to answer questions or provide legal advice as needed, and will respond in-person at polling locations where necessary.

Election Protection – led by the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law – is the nation’s largest non-partisan voter protection coalition. Through its 866-OUR-VOTE hotline and a legal field program, Election Protection helps ensure eligible voters are able to participate in our democracy.
