ATLANTA - Christopher Bruce, political director of the ACLU of Georgia will testify at today's Georgia Government Transparency and Campaign Finance Commission meeting.

“Ever since African Americans won the right to vote, politicians have tried to bully and intimidate voters of color whenever they are poised to flex their political power. In the last several years, Georgia politicians have engaged in a disturbing pattern of bullying voter engagement groups that empower communities of color,” stated Christopher Bruce, political director of the ACLU of Georgia. “We should ask these politicians why they seem to be targeting only organizations led by people of color and whether they also intend to investigate any alleged technical violations by other organizations.”
